Meet the Myanmar Photo Archive

The Myanmar Photo Archive holds the largest collection of independent Myanmar’s vernacular photography from across the country. Goethe-Institut Myanmar and Myanmar Photo Archive are working together to create access to materials for the civilian population, expanding discourse and attention internationally to alternative narratives about Myanmar.

Join us for a talk and presentation on the activities of the Myanmar Photo Archive in the past, present, and future, featuring fascinating images and stories from the archive.

Lukas Birk, the founder of MPA, and the MPA team will also present a selection of artworks and writings by grant recipients.
